Today’s Inspiration (19th August)
God attempted to fix His creation several times in the Old Testament in a variety of different ways. Thankfully, His last attempt was by sending Jesus to earth. By doing so, He bridged the gap between God and man, allowing us to understand and hear things from His perspective in a way that our sinful and mortal ears could understand. Jesus is the salvation of mankind, but also the salvation of God’s creation.
Night Prayer
Blessed Jesus, no words can describe the awesome influence of Your life. Generations have tried and none can come close to fully capturing the power of Your love for us. Thank you for loving me, Lord Jesus, and thank you for allowing me to love You. You have taught me everything that I need to know: love the Lord with all my heart, strength and love one another. I love You and pray this in Your name, Amen.
